JAMBI, bhayaksa.net—– Public infrastructure and labor rights within the educational sector have once again come under intense scrutiny. According to reports submitted by local residents to the online media outlet https://bhayaksa.net, State Elementary School (SDN) 84 Jambi City is alleged to have neglected school assets and failed to fulfill its financial obligations toward its security personnel, leading to a complete halt in security operations.

The community reports highlighted a deeply concerning situation regarding the school’s sanitation facilities. The student restrooms are reportedly severely damaged and entirely dysfunctional.

A local resident, identified by the initial R, expressed their grievance directly to journalists on Wednesday (8/26/2026), lamenting how the dilapidated infrastructure has severely compromised the students’ well-being and comfort.

“Bro, the toilet facilities are absolutely terrible; they can’t be used at all anymore. The children who need to use the restroom are literally being told to just relieve themselves outside,” R stated with deep disappointment.

Beyond the sanitation infrastructure crisis, the community aduan also raised red flags over the total absence of security surveillance on the school grounds. The security guard, who routinely guarded the premises and helped students safely cross the street during dismissal hours, has reportedly not been seen on duty at SDN 84 Jambi City for quite some time.

The resident further revealed that the security guard’s resignation was heavily suspected to be triggered by severe payroll delays from the school management.

“Furthermore, the school security guard isn’t working here anymore because from what we’ve heard, his salary hasn’t been paid for months, so he quit. He’s been gone for a long time now,” R added.

As of the publication of this report, the editorial team is actively seeking official confirmation and statements from the Principal of SDN 84 Jambi City as well as the Jambi City Education Department. This clarification process is deemed crucial to ensure balanced reporting and to uncover the actual operational budget constraints plaguing the institution.
